Ten X the Fun patterns come with 5 designs based on a theme like, snowmen, Halloween hats, Christmas trees, hearts, flowers, roosters etc. Stitch them on perforated paper, cut them out and adhere them to the cards. Then just flip them to change your dispaly. Wire display and cards are sold separately.

Recently, one of our customers began stitching on a number of the designs in this series and sent us a pic of her mantle with the calendar display on it. It looks fantastic and is such a unique way to make a display.

Hey it's time for some weekend window shopping so grab a cool drink and have a seat. Let's begin our highlight for today. From Imaginating we have a great line up of designs, continuing the Let's... Series along with some great new Wedding designs and birth as well.

We've added a few new colours to our line of the new DMC metallic thread called Diamant. DMC's new hand embroidery Diamant thread is made in Japan and its high quality and appealing shades will add a luxurious feel and high definition to any design.  Viscose fibres are wrapped in a metallised polyester coating followed by a silicone treatment; this expert treatment helps the thread glide through fabrics without damaging it.
Unlike the 6-stranded DMC metallic thread we've all come to hate, Diamant is softer and it holds up to stitching very well. It is smooth, compared to other metallics. And it works quite well for surface embroidery, cross stitch, tatting and quilting. Give it a try! We presently have 7 colours to add a nice sheen to your projects.

May 17, 2014

Just a quick highlight for all the tatters out there. We just brought in New Moonlit Shuttles from Handy Hands. We have one each of the full set of colours and each
Moonlit Shuttle is made of plastic, posted with steel hook. It is 2.75" excluding hook x .75 wide. They are not listed online but are available in the shop. Feel free to call if you would like one. They come in 11 luscious colours.
And we have added a few new colours in all sizes of Lizbeth threads, but also wanted to mention that we have added 5 of the new colours of Twirlz thread from Lizbeth in size 20. What's different?
The Lizbeth Twirlz thread is 100% Egyptian cotton, a 6-ply Cordonnet, which means two threads are twisted together, then three cords are twisted together for a 6-ply Cordonnet. Before the three cords are twisted together they are dyed three different colors, then twisted together, double mercerized, and gas singed. This gives the Lizeth Twirlz thread a unique look never seen in a 6-ply Cordonnet thread. The Twirlz are numbers 400-409 under the size 20 thread. Gives a very unique look to your work.
