Photo to Cross Stitch PatternOur shop does not personally create patterns from photos but can refer you to a great company who does. Make sure to keep reading..... Recreating photos into a cross stitch pattern We believe it is still true that you get what you pay for. If you go to the Dollar store, it is pretty good odds that the quality of the product will be sub standard compared to paying more and getting a better quality product that will last much longer. In our experience, the same holds true for purchasing a cross stitch pattern from your personal photo. The quality of the pattern that you will stitch from definitely depends on the price you are willing to pay. We have had many, many customers who have personally tried the less expensive companies and had nothing but complaints about the amount of confetti stitching, and the poor quality of the colours compared to their original photo, so much that many of them gave up part way through stitching it. A waste of time and a waste of materials. As a result of this and our own personal research we have chosen to promote The Stitching Studio here at Thread & Eye. We have no affiliation with this company located in British Columbia other than we believe there work to be superior to many others we have tried and seen. Here is a bit about what they do.
