Soie d’Alger is a 7-strand spun silk with a moderate lustre and a smooth, soft finish. It is made of the best quality spun silk (called strusas) which gives it an unrivalled regularity, lustrous and softness. It is considered by many designers as the finest silk thread on the market today.

Perfect for cross stitch, counted thread work, needlepoint, embroidery, hardanger, lace making, blackwork, ribbon embroidery, stumpwork.
